Job Description
The incumbent will be responsible for
· Asset Management
o Ownership of complete IT Purchase, from identifying requirement to fulfilling them
o Negotiation skills for software and hardware purchase
o Asset Management and related applications
o Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
o Handle and resolve issues with vendors or contractors
o Contribution to maintain Information system standards and policies at operational level
· Operations and Support
o Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of Network and verifying completion of
scheduled jobs
o Perform regular monitoring of Helpdesk and Purchase to identify any possible intrusion and ensure successful
resolution
o Perform regular file archival and purging as necessary
o Create, change, and delete user accounts per request in DC, application database, other database
o Provide support to users to resolve desktop or user issue
o Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with reporting authority
· Maintenance
o Maintenance of Asset Management and IT database applications per schedule activity or operational needs
o Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures
o Perform periodic performance reporting to reporting head
o Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory,
and disk partitions as required
o Supervise user complaints, rectification and preventive measures
o Provide user training and understanding under exceptional situations
Desired Candidate Profile
· Any degree/diploma, with a technical majors
· Systems Administration/System Engineer certification in Microsoft, such as MCSA
· 2 – 3 years experience in IT support
· Experience in effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware
and software and related infrastructure
· Knowledge of the following is essential
o Windows Server 2003 and 2008 with all roles, Window XP, Vista, 7, and Accounting Applications like Tally
· Responsibilities on these systems include design, support, maintenance and research and development to ensure
continual innovation
Person should have technical experience on the following systems
o Window XP, Vista, 7, and Accounting and Tax Applications like Tally, MS Office 2007, MS Office 2010, outlook
configuration
o PC formatting and installation, Printer installation, Switch, Access Point installation
· Person should have technical knowledge of following systems
o Windows Server 2003 and 2008 with roles like, Domain Controller, Print server, DHCP , DNS etc.

· Technical interview to be scheduled for candidate clearing the Aptitude test in Pune with our Director
· May be selectively asked to appear for personality assessment as well.
