Your Opportunity
This role will have you managing India, Asia Pacific and Japan desktop support services and activities.
 You will as a Senior Manager drive the strategy and execution for Informaticas global helpdesk
and deskside support services.

Our Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic IT professional to drive the strategy and execution for
 Informaticas global helpdesk and deskside support services. The ideal candidate for this role
 will have proven experience in both tactical execution and thought leadership for providing industry
 leading client services to a globally dispersed client base.

Your Responsibilities
Performing vendor management and thought leadership for Informaticas 24x7 helpdesk support
Managing India and Asia Pacific and Japan desktop support services and activities, ensuring that service delivery and customer satisfaction exceed published service levels and are delivered in an efficient manner
Coordinating escalation of both high priority and unresolved problems.
Providing the vision and leadership to introduce technologies, processes, and disciplines that will deliver best in class methods throughout IT in collaboration with global team
Insuring that Informatica hardware and software assets are tracked per best practices and inventory is managed effectively worldwide
Coordinating the IT services for special Informatica events, like Customer Conferences
Performing and mentoring team members on project management activities for enterprise-wide IT initiatives
Providing innovative and professional training methods to the organization to educate and enable the company on desktop services
Defining and managing to the budget for desktop and client service for APJ

Your Qualifications
Effective relationship management, communication, and presentation skills with demonstrated success dealing effectively with customers, vendors, peers and senior management
10 years of IT experience with 3+ years in user support, desktop support, call center, and help desk operations
3 years of relevant IT management experience
Demonstrable experience supporting remote offices and managing a desktop team with both virtual and local team members
Demonstrable experience managing a Global helpdesk
Demonstrable experience managing service providers through both qualitative and quantitative measures.
Proven Project Management experience, PMP certification a plus
Experience managing a departmental budget
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering
ITIL certification, a plus
The role will have a good amount of Travel. We will need a senior person who will be open to travel
